That isn't true with affiliate marketing because you're promoting other peoples' products. They set the price and you generally can't make your personal discounts or deals. It is up to the person selling. You are just referring customers.

With e-commerce you have complete liberty. While in affiliate marketing, there might be a few restrictions you are going to have to take care of.

Another thing I enjoy about e-commerce is, as long as it is possible to sell your products, you receive full flexibility. You can pick from an endless supply of goods to dropship or retailstores.
